Veterinary Technology Program

Start Your Path Toward Becoming a Veterinary Technician in Ohio

If you're passionate about animals and interested in a career in veterinary medicine, Metropolitan Veterinary Academy's 18-month Veterinary Technology Program combines classroom instruction, hands-on laboratory training, and supervised clinical experience to help prepare students for entry-level veterinary technician positions.

Become a Veterinary Technician Through Hands-On Training

The curriculum is designed to develop the knowledge and practical skills expected of veterinary technicians while helping graduates prepare to take the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE). Successful completion of the program does not guarantee passage of the VTNE or registration as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). Graduates must meet all applicable examination and state registration requirements established by the Ohio Veterinary Medical Licensing Board.
